
Omaha Days Festival | Art Show & Book Signing ft. Dave Hall and Ansel Butler, Artists Born and Raised in Omaha

Two local artists with deep Omaha roots are making noise this Omaha Days with a powerful cultural event that brings art, stories, and community together under one roof.
David Hall, author of Red Brick Roads, and Ansel Butler, a renowned painter, will host a Two-Day Art Show and Book Signing at Millwork Commons, Saturday, August 2nd from 6 PM – 11 PM and Sunday, August 3rd from 10 AM – 6 PM, including a special “Brunch & Art” session on Sunday.
“This isn’t just an art show-it’s a homecoming,” says David Hall. “We’re telling Omaha stories through paint and paper, raw and unfiltered.”
The event will feature original paintings, exclusive book signings, and a chance to meet both artists-two sons of Omaha who’ve turned struggle into expression.
