Transfer on Death Deeds are a way for you to make sure your home gets passed to a beneficiary of your choice after your death. A TODD allows you to pass on your house without a will. By recording a transfer on death deed, you retain homeownership rights during your lifetime, then the TODD takes effect upon a homeowner’s death, without a need for probate. You can name multiple beneficiaries. During the TODD Events, volunteer attorneys help prepare individual Transfer on Death Deeds that participants can sign while at the event. All events are provided at no cost. Registration is required to secure an appointment.
