Event Series Event Series: Millwork Conversations

Millwork Conversations Presented by Google | Civic Engagement Panel

A gathering point for Omaha’s creators, innovators, artists, thought leaders and activators.

Millwork Conversations will provide an opportunity to learn from people across communities right here in Nebraska and across the country about new ideas and what’s possible – how to push past real and imagined boundaries. Each month will provide an inspiring, memorable experience for attendees through compelling conversations.

In March we will discuss the importance of Civic Engagement with a talk moderated by Jo Giles of Women’s fund. Joining her are Panelists:

Brad Christian-Sallis of Nebraska Table

Dr. Lina Translavina-Stover of Heartland Worker’s Center

and, Kimara Snipes of One Omaha

Civic Nebraska will operate a Voter Registration table, parallel to Habitat For Humanity providing guests with valuable information on petitions and civic concerns.

This isn’t one you’ll want to miss!

Heirloom Fine Foods will be providing snacks and a cash bar for the event!
